Maryam Sirvan is an Iranian sound artist, vocalist, and composer, currently based in Calgary, Canada. Through her innovative works, she delves into the diverse realms of blending noise, processed voice, instruments, field recordings, and electronics. Since 2010, she has been a member of the multidisciplinary duo NUM, where she contributes as a composer, performer, flautist, and vocalist.
In addition to her collaborative efforts with NUM, Maryam Sirvan has released three solo albums. Her solo projects have garnered recognition and support, including commissions from Deutschlandfunk Kultur Radio in Germany and the Media Arts Committee in Canada. Furthermore, she has received multiple awards in collaboration with her duo NUM, gaining her reputation as a distinguished artist in the realm of experimental sound and electroacoustic composition.

Milad Bagheri is an Iranian music technologist, sound artist, electroacoustic music composer, and audio engineer, currently resides in Calgary, Canada. He holds a Master's degree in Sonic Arts from the University of Calgary and a B.A. in Music Technology from Tbilisi State Conservatoire.
In addition to his academic achievements, Bagheri is a versatile artist, serving as a composer, performer, producer, sound artist, coder, visual artist, and sound engineer in the duo NUM since 2010. His contributions to NUM have not only earned him accolades within the academic realm, such as the Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship (AGES), but also recognition in the broader music community. Bagheri and his duo NUM received prestigious awards, including the Radio Lab prize presented by The Wire and CTM festival.å
