NOTHINGNESS; LIFE, NOTHINGNESS
Nothingness; Life, Nothingness is an electroacoustic suite in three movements by NUM, commissioned by CTM Festival, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, and The Wire Magazine. Composed between Tbilisi and Berlin (2019–2020), the piece explores the experience of time as a transitional, suspended condition.

Each movement represents a temporal dimension: the past is vast and textured, shaped by memory, history, and collective transformation; the present is intimate and improvisational, symbolized by NUM’s live performance and layered voice; and the future is an echo—an ambiguous synthesis of all that has come before, dissolving into nothingness.
